Strategic Transition: Rebuilding Ukraine Through Education
Modern Ukrainian education is going through a period of profound transformations. The country's post-war reconstruction, European integration course, digitalization of society, and new challenges of the labor market require a qualitatively new generation of teachers capable of working in conditions of rapid change and shaping the future of Ukraine in accordance with European values.
That is why the Jean Monnet Module “Developing 21st Century Teacher Skills: From the EU to Ukraine” (TSUELU) aims to study, adapt and disseminate the best educational practices of the European Union in the system of training future teachers.
The project responds to the key challenges of our time:
supporting the post-war reconstruction and modernization of educational institutions;
bridging the gap between European educational standards and national practice;
developing the competencies necessary for the digital transformation of education and the conditions of Industry 5.0.
At the same time, TSUELU is shaping a vision of the future of Ukrainian education, in which:
the teacher acts as a facilitator of learning, an innovator, an agent of change and a guide to European democratic values;
the education system develops in accordance with the principles of the European Higher Education Area, the Bologna Process and European approaches to quality assurance;
young people receive opportunities for the development of civic engagement, social responsibility, psychological resilience and successful self-realization.
Through educational courses, open lectures, trainings, international partnerships, and the dissemination of European experience, the TSUELU project contributes to the training of a new generation of teachers capable of ensuring qualitative changes in Ukrainian education and becoming active participants in the European educational space.
