The 21st century teacher in a united Europe is not just a transmitter of knowledge, but a mediator, innovator and guide of European values. His role is aimed at preparing responsible citizens, able to successfully integrate into modern society and contribute to its development. The proposed Jean Monnet module will focus on studying and disseminating the European Union's experience in preparing a new generation of teachers, able to overcome the challenges of the 21st century, through comprehensive educational, professional and social initiatives aimed at developing modern competences, adapting to the digital era and ensuring inclusion. The module aims to further promote European policies on effective skills and ensure that 21st century skills remain a top priority across Europe.
The project goal is to provide educators with the skills necessary for modern pedagogical practice that meets EU educational standards, contributing to the creation of an innovative and interactive classroom environment.
Tasks
1. Introduce educational modules
- “Developing 21st-century Skills of the teacher: from EU to UA” (for PhD students);
- “European Practices for the Development of Creativity” (for Master's students);
- “Digital Education: the EU experience for Ukraine” (for Master’s students);
2. To organize summer school “Skills of the Future: the 21st Century Focus and EU Innovative Initiatives” for HEI and VET teachers, school teachers / public activists
3. To organize scientific and practical conference “New challenges in forming the 21st century skills: EU approaches”
4. To conduct research
5. To organize roundtable “Building Bridges: Fostering 21st-Century Education through EU Best Practices”.
6. To organize public events for educators, media representatives and general public.
